Sri KDU raises RM42,000 in Run to Ignite HOPE for the disabled

On Saturday, 13 October 2019, over 930 people comprising students, their family members and teachers from Sri KDU Schools participated in the  H.O.P.E Family Fun Run to raise RM42,000 for Pusat Jagaan Titian OKU Nur, a home for the disabled in Rawang. The run was flagged off by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Y.B. Hannah Yeoh. Organised by Sri KDU Primary School, this is a part of the school’s H.O.P.E. (Helping Out People Everywhere) initiative which started in 2009. This is the first time a Family Fun Run has been organised with the aim to encourage students and their families to spend quality time together, while contributing to a charitable cause.
