Building a sustainable business
Paramount is committed to building a sustainable business that delivers value for all stakeholders including employees, business partners and the wider community. In ensuring long-term sustainability of our businesses and the creation of greater public trust in our Company, the Board continually ensures that sound principles of sustainable governance are integrated into the work environments and business processes of the Paramount Group.
Guided by our Vision, Mission and Core Values, we have continued to realise our aspiration of delivering a legacy of socio-economic development for stakeholders. We remain committed to our 5Ps – People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace, which are aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (“SGDs”) of the United Nations.
Our commitment to improvement has been a continuous process and journey. Through our core businesses of property development and education, Paramount continues to address material areas of concern in our efforts to realise and uphold our 5Ps. We believe that in order for our business to be sustainable, we must adopt a triple-bottom-line approach beyond profits and financial gain to create long lasting value for our stakeholders.
This approach has been exemplified across our business divisions over the past 50 years, from educating the young and developing the nation’s capital needs, to housing the nation and exploring new ways of creating living spaces through green building design and construction.
Moving forward, Paramount continues to embrace sustainability as an intrinsic part of our business model and value creation process.
