Over 2,500 cyclists take part in Penang Bridge ride
Cyclists return in full force to ride at the Penang Fellowship Ride Bridge to Bridge 2023
Some 2,500 participants cycled 66km across two bridges during the Penang Fellowship Ride Bridge to Bridge 2023 where Paramount Property was title sponsor.
The Penang Fellowship Ride Bridge to Bridge 2023 was flagged off by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad FuziRazak on Sunday, 8 January 2023. And what made it an especially momentous occassion was that he was celebrating his 74th birthday on that day.
Also present at this event were Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Penang State Exco for Youth and Sports Soon Lip Chee and G Club Penang Cyclists Chairman Dato’ Dr Lim Seh Guan. Paramount Property was represented by the Northern Region CEO Ooi Hun Peng.
This is the second time Paramount Property has been title sponsor of this bridge-to-bridge cycling event which also attracted cyclists from Singapore, Australia and Japan. In 2018, Paramount Property was the main sponsor for the ‘Paramount Property Interstate 160 km & 80 km’.
A staunch supporter of cycling events, Paramount Property was proud to be the title sponsor of an event which brought people of all races, ages, and beliefs together for healthy fun and fellowship. “As the People’s Developer, we build homes, commercial spaces and townships that promote healthy community living. As part of our corporate social responsibility to uplift the communities where we operate, Paramount Property also champions healthy activities that bring communities together,” he added.
The cycling event was organised by the Penang State Government, the Sports Council, G Club Penang Cyclists, with the help of Majlis Bandaraya PulauPinang, the Majlis Bandaraya SeberangPerai and the Polis Diraja Malaysia.
