Paramount receives The Edge Centurion Club 2022 award for Highest Return on Equity Over Three Years

Paramount Corporation Berhad was recognised for offering the Highest Return on Equity Over Three Years in the Property Sector at The Edge Malaysia’s Centurion Club & Corporate Awards 2022 gala dinner at Hilton Kuala Lumpur last night (19 Sept 2022). Twenty nine public listed companies with market capitalisation of at least RM100 million but below RM1 billion received 36 awards as best performing sector leaders for the highest return on equity, the highest returns to shareholders, and highest growth in profit after tax, over three years.

Paramount Deputy Group CEO Benjamin Teo received our trophy from Minister of Finance Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz at the ceremony. Also present on stage were The Edge Media Group Chairman Tan Sri Tong Kooi Ong and its Group CEO/ Publisher Dato’ Ho Kay Tat, and CIMB Group CEO Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad.

Our cheer team included Chief Financial Officer Foong Poh Seng, Paramount Property CEO Chee Siew Pin and Paramount Property COO Wang Chong Hwa.

Paramount also garnered a win at the Award’s inaugural event in 2019 for Highest Returns to Shareholders Over Three Years in the Property Sector. No awards given out in the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021.
